About Here's another from last year, a wide angle scene cropped to get a panorama view. The 20mm lens I used was a low-budget type but it does fairly well, I think.

You seem to have so many lovley places to take pictures. This is such a beautiful walkway with its gorgeous canopy of trees.

the dof is beautiful, almost a sense of being there enjoying the day.

Very nice wide-angle...no - panoramic! - view!

The dark trees on the sides frame the shot well. Interesting contrast beteen the evenly spaced trees leading the eye into the shot and the randomly spaced people. The center of the wonderful branch canopy forms a pleasant triangle with the curb lines - nice "tunnel" vision!

Hi, Rob, thanks for visiting... The sharpening of the normal photo on the page is certainly too much, but Usefilm was responsible for that! I think sharpening is about right on the full-size panoramic view, but at that time back in the spring I was still learning how to use my new sharpening plug-in, and I think I would make a better job of it these days. The much larger panorama images are that much more revealing of the quality of the image, aren't they! The other one you liked (reflections) has a similar problem, probably for the same reason.

Awesome view and very well composed. It looks as if the sharpening is a tad too high or is that just me?

Again this is wonderful, the details are fantastic and the colours are gorgeous. I know you fought for getting this panoramic facility Roger and I am happy to see that you (and others) are taking it to the limits. Well done, viewing these compositions is delightful. All the best to you....Ray

This one is much better! the perspective and the green canopy of trees make the shot very attractive!I like the patterns on the promenade, both the design of the stones in the pavement and the shadows of the trees, it gives a very cool feeling.
Regards,
Gabriela
