I love the angle...really makes the image along with the dark areas of broken out glass.
Crisp focus & colors look fabulous!

Kathy,
A delicate balancing act caught and made more menacing by the severe angle.

Great use of color and contrasting texture in the reflection, Kathy! The gloss and beauty of the reflected sky is a stark contrast to the weathered wood and broken glass. Sort of lends a theme of the timeless beauty of nature versus the temporal, fleeting nature of human creation. Anyway, this a very pleasing and also technically excellent composition. Great stuff.

Regards,
Mark

Love the shooting angle to this one Kathy and the capture of that rich blue sky with it's wisps of cotton candy. Excellent textures and details. Well done to you sweetie. My very best wishes as always....Ray

Perhaps the views were a glitch, but the composition was not because some people learn the rules quite quicker than others and then are therefore allowed to break them ...

P.S. Sorry for cracking that little wise ass joke up there about changing your name, but I though it was applicable ... Ha! Ha!

Cool shot Kath...The colors are my favorites, dark brown and bright blue. The reflection of the clouds adds so much to this. Nicely spotted...too bad about that tripod leg...) Or maybe your hip is out worse than you thought???? Good one. I really like it!

A very unique angle of view. The broken panes on each side give a great composition. Very nice texture in the old wood. Don.

BTW ... how did you get so many views, (62), so fast only half way down the front page of new critiques?

I think one of your tripod legs is broken also or perhaps your right limb is a bit shorter than your left and therefore your name should really be 'Ilean' ... :))
