I too love the diagonalised lines to this lovely looking composition. Excellent details, great textures and beautiful pastel-like colour tones. Well done......Cheers again.....Ray

LOL! Thanks Doyle. :) It could be much worse, actually - the gradient is fairly steep, but not as steep as it would have been if the designer of the path had gone for a straight line from A to B. ;)

I like the lines too . . . and I CAN say why. Because I don't have (whew!) to climb them (puff, puff!) Looks like a lot of work! :P Intriguing image though!
