About The larvae of the nephele hawk moth (Nephele comma). The larvae grow up to more than 5cm in length and feed on a variety of garden and wild plants. One larvae can gulp down a medium sized arum leaf in a night.

Joggie, I find this study interesting because of the behavioural details. You have the focus clearly on the leaf, such that the caterpillar walks a razor's edge. The out of focus areas are easy to ignore begause you have managed to get the marking in clear focus. Well done..., as usual!

Very interesting the subject, the explication and the photo, as usual. I like the diagonal composition that adds depth, the only two things and the only two complemantary colours. Perfecty clear, neat, essential.
