Hi George, I use Neat Image for noise reduction and apply it on a dup layer. Then I can mask it and change it's opacity till I get the best trade off! It may help a little.

Thank you, Amanda - I think that was good input - I did, as you said, took a little red out. The noise is pretty much there, and I think if I mess with it, it'll blur the photo.
Two things - One - I see you're in Melborne, and my wife and I will be visiting there later this year - Oct 21-25 = and then we're off to Sydney - I love your children's photos - I have some to share with you too - here is my e-mail - weddingphotos@san.rr.com

I love the composition and movement in this, a little too red though and would benefit from a little noise reduction (neat image is great). Fantastic moment - well done
