Excellent capture Jinggoy and the exposure is spot on. I've never really done well with wildlife captures so always appreciate captures like this :) Nice one.

Jinggoy... I only wish that lens were mine. It was a Nikon loan for a four day workshop. I am not able to afford that lens but did manage to buy my own D70 s whose technology along with a computer I am trying to master. You must have already checked on compatibility of teleconverter and that fancy lens look forward to your birds with the new lens combo.

Hi Lynne,
Thanks for dropping by. I noticed you had used a 70-200mm VR lens for the barn shot, that is an excellent lens by itself and with a Nikon teleconverter would give you a longer focal length with good autofocus with sharp image in the center. I tried it myself the other day and was contemplating a similar combo. The lens I have is fairly slow and I get very few keepers when taking photos of birds.

Love the detail which really ties into the title of your photo. I love wildlife but think I need a longer lens to come close to this quality.The background out of focus adds to the impact of this image' Thank you for sharing.

Great capture and very good timing to capture this bird about to take its flight. Very good clarity and the blurred background makes the subject stand out in this image.. very interesting are the wing feathers and how they bend against the wind...
