hi doyle - i am not sure which i like better. i had turned off my flash (so i will learn, to take at least one with a flash to see what it looks like at home!). in real life (non-camera), i was looking at the moon, and the vineyards were just a bonus. wild, eh?? thank you!

All right Jessie! You tell ME! What do YOU think?? I think a flash (at the time) would have solved the issue easier . . . but this is cool! Note: You need not worry about the flash overexposing the moon! LoL! This is a good job Jessie. Well done!

thanks, luis. when i tried to lighten it on the computer, the moon lost its color. it was hard. i'll try a little bit harder!! thanks!

Good shot Jessie . . . it's a difficult one too. The tendency to overexpose and lose details in the moon's surface haunt a lot of people, but you have mastered that issue. Luis had a point . . . In my opinion a flash or different light source would have illuminated the foreground and added some impact. The shot, though, is good as it stands.

I always wanted to take a similar picture of the moon early in the evening when the sky is still blue, just like this one. The moon realy shines on the image and is well exposed and focus. One thing I was wondering was, if it would be even nicer of the vines were a little brighter to give it more form and color?
