About This image (3152) was shot 22 February 2006 at The People's Pub here in Ballard.

This reminds me of a line from a poem I once wrote:

"Falling, falling down through time"

I like the television screens as they streak down the image.

This image has been cropped, resized, shrunk, and the contrast was upped (+25) in PS.

Annemette - I suspect I was at an off-angle to the TV so that I only was in view of a small sliver of it.

Oh this is beautiful, James- it does indeed give a feeling of moving through time where the blue steps are the only visible and steady way to go for us humans that see patterns and have a hard time dealing with chaos.
How did you make this in combination with the tv making it not visible when doing the other lightlines?
Be well
Annemette

Marija - I'm sorry. I must have overlooked this message earlier. Yes, the thin lines in the background on the right look like your hair perhaps in this image:

Lovely hair. Do you feel like you are falling off of time's ladder too?

Thank you, Rina. The poem that line comes from was written after I'd discovered "The rubaiyat of omar khayyam". I don't know if I still have my poem around, but that line has always stuck with me.

Yutaka - Yes, yes. I like that each blue TV image (each rung of time's ladder) is streaked out behind it as they descend, because time is hurtling past.

Maryam - Thank you for your kind observations. I see what you mean about an architectural concept. Frank Gehry could be concerned.

This looks like my hair:) the right part of the image, I mean!
nice effect again, James. I like the colour combination - and the blue of the tv screen that made a little stairway.
