Thanks for all the nice comments.
I shot theses skimmers for many years with totally manual cameras, but my eyes are gettin' old and I really appreciate the auto focus. But I'm still used to seeing things square, after using my old Rolleflex 6x6.

WOW! That is an awesome image.
I hope you go back and find this guy and print a copy for him.
Excellent composition with the surfers in the background. I didn't realize the ocean in Laguna Beach is this clean and clear. I'll have to go drive out there and see what I come up with.
