Anything is better than a plastic gnome Roger, Heather has an old orange plastic bucket in the garden for deadheading purposes, that is more acceptable than a plastic gnome.
What a refreshing find in those gardens my friend. Lovely colours a wonderful donkey and squirrel and the hint of another creature hiding itself away at the back. It's got a frog like grin. Very best wishes Roger and although the rules change for digital photography I have no doubt that you will master the D200. Cheers my friend......Ray

Thank you, Gabriela. He is a cute little donkey. This is about as close/big as I can get. He is well inside a neighbour's garden! I took this hanging over the fence...

Congratulations for the new camera, dear Roger!!!! Your pockets must be very much empty by now, hahahaha!Well, maybe just an impressive hole? I'd have liked a shot of the cute donkey in close up. As it is, guardian of the pots seems to be a good enough job for it. Best regards, Gabriela

Thanks, Tanaka San. This is a neighbour's garden. The weather has prevented much photography recently. I'm looking forward to the summer despite the heat. Hope to learn how to use my new, enormously complicated camera. (Argh!)

This is not exactly "your style", Roger! But the light on those leafy plants in the center makes this shot look cheerful and humorous! And the donkey looks great! YT
