I“m sorry you have also lost your father. We belive that our loved ones will be around always, and then when losing one“s father reality comes knocking very strongly on the door leaving innocense and free careless play behind. For children it“s so surreal that people die and disappear only with a tombstone left as a physical trace of their life on Earth. Anna Sophie often says that she misses her grandfather although she was barely two when my father died. She also asks me not to die and asks when she“ll die...poor child. Oh, I tell you I“ve enjoyed the warm weather so much going to the beach in the evening to swim-aaaah!:-) This is the best summer ever to be measured in Denmark, so at least our pollution is good for one thing...;-) ooops, time for bed. My nephew , whit almost 7 yo, also started to talk often about my father when he passed away 3 years ago, and my brother said that he often mentioned the grandfather, and used to ask about where he is now ....it was so sweet to know that....seems that the great worries of Human Kind, like Love and Death start very early :) How was the weekend? Mine was fine, went for a small trip in montains, but the camera stayed in the pocket most part of the time :) And yes, here it is too hot, i advise you to stay in cool Denmark :)))) A Hug Jorge Carvalho
A photo of your friends going all over the world...they must feel famous:-))I thought they would be all tanned/dark by now, but you guys probably seek cover from the strong sun down in southern Europe whereas we in the North can“t get enough sun:-)We have to get enough sunbeams to take us through the rest of the year. Thanks for your sweet comment by the way! Anna Sophie talks about death constantly and becoming an angel because my father died last summer(much too early).
