About American Kestrel- Falco sparverius are truly the masters in hovering.
These guys are the most colorful and smallest of the falcons.
A difficult shot that I finally got in good part thanks to my camouflage net.
I waited for this guy and his female per about 10 minutes and they showed up “as planned”.

Hi Dave, I may be wrong, but I estimated this guy is no more than 4-5 months old.
Just like any other bird, in only 2-3 months they reach adult size.
