Don't delete too many of your images because I've found that if I leave photos a while after I shoot them I can be more objective in the editing process.
Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with this. the composition seems fine to me and I like the post work you've done.
Keep it up, and stop doubting yourself silly :)

I think it is a classic- don't chuck it out! I love it. You have captured some beautiful moment. I love the textures and it suits the stones exactly. The reflections and colours just wonderful.

I like this image. I like the action you have captured in the young girl and the interesting surface she is running on. You have created wonderful colour and lighting. Cathy

I should be so luck to have such garbage!!!! I find it evokes a mellow mood and I am glad you continued to tweak. --Jan

Thanks for taking the time to comment Terry ~ the girl is not related to me, she was just playing with her friends on the beach and I liked the way the wind was blowing her hair so thought I'd try to capture it.. I could have done with a little more light but then the weather here isn't always cooperative ~ LOL! regards, susie

I kind of like it Susie. The composition is good. I like the oil painting effect. The colours are pleasant. And if it's your daughter, why wouldn't it be worth saving?

The only time I toss out images is when they are utterly useless, like a closed lenscap. This image is interesting to look at. It's something different. Maybe five years from now you'll think differently about it. Or at the very least it could remind you not to do something.
