Ursula, photographically I are perfectly right: the wing covers too much of the image. As I wrote in my first holiday upload I tried to catch mood, emotion, mistery of the mountain. That's why many pictures are dark, hidden or blurred as you will see also in the next uploads; hoping you will like them.

I am glad you like the lights, Sheila. Deep shadows are not always pleasant for the photographers but I like the strong contrasts. I have walked in your place with pleasure as I have seen excellent photos for my taste. I note that you too love backlit, shades and sunsets.

Beautiful backlighting, just as in nature as you say Giuseppe...wonderful colors and mood. I can feel the warmth of the sun, it feels like a happy mood, a refuge, a place to hide away and watch the dance of nature. Anche qui forti contrasti..bella, la preferisco all'altra perchè i fili d'erba in primo piano hanno maggiore risalto qui..e la bellissima luce rende lo scatto davvero magico..
Inoltre c'è ancora un buon dettaglio sulle pareti rocciose (sassi credo)..
