Gabriela, see what I saw before pressing the button: a large place all covered with a carpet of damp, worn-out, gray-haired grass; in an angle was lost alone the only point of colour, weak, naked, unable to stand straight. No wonder that you catch the melancholy in this image.
I picked up the flower and put it in a glass with water at a windowsill. It became straight and strong and bloomed beautifully for some good days.
I like the way you wright. Have a serene weekend Monika.

Il nome comune è colchico. Sono splendidi perchè colonizzano interi prati di montagna. Dì a tuo cugino che non deve vergognarsi. Ho provato a chiederlo ad un montanaro del posto e anche lui mi ha risposto che erano crochi!

Bellissimo fiore..stupenda luce, il rosa e l'argento dei fili d'erba contrastano magicamente..
Poco fa mio cugino Emanuele un giorno che eravamo a casa nostra in montagna, fine settembre credo, mi disse che questi erano i crocus autunnali..che anche lui aveva da poco scoperto la loro esistenza..io non li avevo mai visti..c'erano i prati pieni di questi fiorellini rosa..bellissimi..
Vedremo cosa dirà quando vedrà questo scatto..;)
Ma il nome volgare in italiano com'è?

The quality of the grass is outstanding!The sheaths glimmer here and there silvery as if touched by the moonlight. And the naked lady venturing for a look outside.....Is she the one singing the autumn song?I see in this image a melancholic statement of longing.Beautiful creation, Giuseppe!

Mi piace la composizione con questo fiore isolato che sbuca tra l'erba, una curva tra altre curve. E' molto bello anche l'accostamento di colori, il viola tra i fili argentati.
