It forgives for my lack of respect in not writing in its language so that it understands better, Michele. I go to strengthen itself to write in English of the next times

nice image.... it is hard shooting towards the sun, creates a bit of haze in the hills... I love the landscape.. I think if you could have something in the foreground (a tree or something) it could bring more depth to the image.... great colors.. good work

Hi jessie ... thank You soo much...
I am sort of behind now too with my comments...haven't checked your portfolio and I do love your images...
I am not sure about waves of color on the tree's... apparently the quality of the image didn't quite make the cut as there have been a few questions asking if I shot this thru a window, etc. I wish I had the answers...Mostly I am waaaaay ready for a new camera...
I know I live in a very beautiful place to take pictures. I am on the beach and less than a mile from several lakes, rivers, and creeks in all directions... mountains a couple miles and everything is usually green and gorgeous. I know this has helped my images to be more of interest ...You have been close to Oregon , maybe you could come back sometime if you visit your family in Washington...??? If this ever happens let me know cause I do know a lot of secret places and ways to get there by kyack too !
Thanks Jessie, michele~

Michele! This is perhaps the best I've seen from you thus far! Just freakin' beautiful!!! Your composition and color could not be improved. I'm not thrilled with the sky detail . . . but my friend . . . with your equipment and not using the PS or RAW data post processing . . . I seriously doubt this could have been done better!!
One very proud tutor, Doyle I <~~~~~

Nice blue tones, very deep, I like that, looks like being some flares from the sunlight on the lens that hit a bit the quality and clarity of the image. A good element here is the laves that makes the frond trees, sea at the middle again trees, mountain and sky, 5 laves, good!!! cheers

Hi chris, I know what You are trying to say but this was not shot thru a window so I still don't know why it happened... bummer.. But thank you for the comment and explanation. I wish I could see it !

Hi Michele I agree with Paul in that i too see that banding.best way i can think of to describe this... Often when looking out of an aeroplane window, depending on your point of view and the light (perhaps something to do with the plastic nature of the window) there is a multicolour "banding" quite clearly visible on the window... Also read something here once about shooting out of an aero window with a polarizer on...tried it and got the same result...more banding...was this shot through a window?

Hi Robert ,
Thank You for the kind comment . Yes there is quite a story about Devils lake...I have told it in other images of this lake but forgot to add it last night...
The Indians have a story that if you cross the lake under a full moon some kind of devilish monster takes you away from this world , and you are never seen again. It is an old story that has been told over and over again for about 100 yrs. I wish it had a nicer name but I don't canoe under the full moon here so I don't worry !
Thank You Robert and Best Wishes, michele~

Hi Paul,
hmmm don't know Paul... There is sunlight running horizontally accross the far end of the lake ( mostly on the right side) ...would that be what you are referring too?
I don't have any vertical lines or bands on my screen... As I go thru comments if I find out othes have seen it I will let You know.
Thank You for the question , hope to resolve it !
Best Wishes, michele~

That is why we process Michele. The camera does not see as well as the human eye. Never has and never will.......:) You did a great job to bring out the image you saw with your eyes when you captured this. We all thanks you for this! Good lighting, colors and composition my friend!
Congrats!

Very, very nice place with lovely colours and atmosphere. What a queer name of lake (Devils), do you know why this is it's name, what's the story? :) For me the colours and tonal range very impressive an eye catcher. Another great work from you, thanks for your sharing! :) 7+++
Have a nice day dear Michele, Robert
