Oh yes, the HFP is a very good place to start the search for the lost photographer ;-)

Nick

P.S.: Do they have an internet connection in the asylum? ;-)

Hi Nick,
If you don't show up one day on Usefilm, we will know where you are :)

Oh no, then I would have to hunt butterflies and insects out of my scene, noooooo!!! ;-)

Thank you so much for the nice comment, Giuseppe!

Ciao,

Nick

Yes Nick, beautiful also the B&W version. Picture is good but I enjoyed very much also the pleasant and amusing comments. Perhaps you have better to change for floral pictures, less problems and much more relaxing.
Ciao Nick.

Giuseppe

Thanks to the noble idea and humorous support from my friends at UF, I came out of the HFP without having to clean the 65876 plates for paying my depts.

The next photos of the same subject are coming soon.

Take care, Jan, and keep it up, both photographing and laughing!

P.S.: Listening to "Condition critical" from "Quiet Riot" - hmmmm, some vague remembrance of a very unpeaceful event comes into my mind! ;-)

Glad you have maintained your sense of humor about these vexing photographic frustrations. Fabrice, Andre, and Jan will take up a collection to help defray the costs of your much needed stay in the "Home for Frustrated Photographers".

OK, OK, all you hard to satisfy critique-men, I am already on the way there, and hope to convice those birds to swim faster.

Now, let me take that swans-and-tourists-whip! Chacks! Swim faster! And you, over there, get off *my* sceeeene! ;-)

Thank you for the nice, hilarious comment, Andre!

Nick

P.S.: From the local news:

A long haired Greek photographer has been arrested in Lucerne after having whipped swans and tourists mercylessly! At the time of his arrest his face was completely violet from wrath, and he was screaming ununderstandable words like &%*!?-swans or +£$!"*!-tourists, but some witnesses heard him roaring the names "Fabrice", "Jan" and "Andre" with a rather Greek sounding accent! The photographer was taken to the asylum for further examinations of his mental state. We would appreciate any further information from anybody knowing this poor guy!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Hi Nick,
Isn't it amazing how some little things can just get in the way or not cooperate with us?
Those damn swans! They need to swim a little faster. I didn't even notice that tourist's hand until I read the comments. Now it's all I see :)

Kidding aside, this is really a great scene, well taken. You better go back and do it again for full credit :)

Hi Jan,

and thank you for the nice comment! The swans, being hidden by the railing, have been my main problem with this photo too. But then Fabrice told me about that mysterious hand at the right ;-)

Indeed, it would have been so nice to have them better visible. They don't seem to get what a good photo takes, those birds! ;-)

Best wishes,

Nick

Oh no, I didn't even notice that hand and the pointing finger! That unscrupulous person had of course to invade my photo!!!

Thank you for telling me and thank you for the nice comment, Fabrice!

Take care,

Nick

P.S.: Photographers and the information office of Lucern against curious tourists! ;-)

Hands off!

Good B&W scene. Wish the birds had been a little more visible. You are blessed to have such beautiful surroundings!

Nice point of view for a great perspective. The tones are nice too. I would perhaps try to crop a little bit more on the right to avoid the presence of th hand on the shot.
Nice work Nick
