~~GRIN~~ Riny... The PS work was a levels adjustment on mid and low range to negate the different blacks of card and black core board, small rotation, crop, a hue/sat play (which I did cancel)and clone of approx three hot pixels...

I hear you Onie...packing is such an unpleasant chore, great to see you've turned it into a photo op!
Did not see your eye until Meg mentioned it, but I think it's a "happy accident" that adds to the story! As I see it...you are sitting back, surveying the empty room, job well done?...a bit of sadness?...wishing for wine?...all of the above? No matter...IMO, a wonderful story within the glass. Keep in mind, I've had only a half cup of coffee as I write this! ;)

LOL Robin... Taking photos as I pack is my *sanity* saver...
We still have a couple of months before our home will be ready... but, as mostly myself doing the packing, started before Christmas and just slowly moving from room to room...:)
Just read Megs comment, LOL, didn't realise it is my face in the reflections, be it somewhat distorted... Kicking my own butt here as completely missed that faux pas... ~~GRIN~~...

This time, the yellow/brown was a deliberate choice as I didn't want to make this black and white... :)
~~GRIN~~ and same with the composition, was trying for an illusion of sorts...:)

With the exception of the reflection of your eye which personally I would have cloned out, this is an excellent image that is very cleverly lit and is pleasant to view. :)

a very difficult shot with good light; two small nits in my opinion: the cristal has a yellow/brown tint and the canvas seems to be tilted to the left but I know it's an optical illusion due to the absence of a base and compoition; kind regards my friend...txules
