Very nice image. I think that composition would be more impressive in case it included whole elephant in the frame.

Hi Doyle, a bank of multicoloured LEDs which cycled through a number of colours illuminated the carvings from behind. The lights tended to highlight the interior of this pieces without showing up the detail and texture of the carvings. One thing that bothered me during this shoot was the backgrounds, in this case a temporary shelter can be seen. Thanks very much for your input and comments.

WOW!!! AWESOME work . . . . Backlighting would have moved this from awesome to PHENOMENAL . . . . but I bet that was out of the question!

Another good capture here, Joe! I like the way you've used the available light, and having that ISO setting available to use is a great way to capture the atmosphere of the setting.
