Excellent shot of this guy Joe- Being that this bird has 'Night Heron' in the last part of the name does this have anything to do with the habbits of being a nocturnal type bird?
Regardless the composition is one of my favorites of your bird series ... I love the exposure, shadows, tones, textures, rocks and water- It's a beautifully marked bird and the clarity is spot on !!!! 7/7
