So says Doctor Seuss. I needed no Rolaids; I just gave a gentle burp after eating and was fine.

Should not have needed the rolaids. Neither the ham or eggs looked green...grin..Kerry

Bek -- Thanks for checking my eggs & ham & Rolaids out and for your comments. I see you caught the egg that I cut off at the bottom to see if anyone was really looking. :)
I picked this pan, too small, intentionally, to tighten up the shot. In fact I used a griddle when I got around to cooking & eating my picture.
--Best to you, Jan

Hey Jan....what's wrong, couldn't find a bigger pan and get the little piggy in there? Had to settle with a slightly less raw material and go for the piggy already in ham form?
I will forgive you for the eggs not being chickens, as no-one has settled 'that' debate yet!
This is very cool, love the idea, I would have liked the bottom egg complete in the frame, but apart from that....I like it.
Yummy, I can hear that sizzling ham...
cheers, Bek

Marlyce -- I got a big laugh out of your comments! My official response is "I only eat pleasantly edible items that I photograph, such as Ham & Eggs, Halloween candy, Steamed Crabs, and other designated food items". That is my story and I am sticking to it. Thanks so much for your great comments.

Jan, I thought this was a hoot when I saw it....and then I did something I normally do not do....I was reading comments before I commented.......you eat what you photograph? Acorns on Turd come to mind? no wonder you need the rolaids. Sorry, just could not help that one.

You made me hungry first with this photo - in the middle of the night...
Now it is 5 AM here and I'll have a Southern Comfort and then I am off to bed, before I go to the kitchen and make me something to eat.

John -- So funny! Your picture consuming dessert after the huge breakfast you described is great! It is a wonder that you are not so big that your picture would require a wide angle lens. You must have a high metabolism. Thanks for your amusing comments and for making me hungry at 11 PM in the evening. :)
--Best to you, Jan
PS I like smoked salmon with just about anything but especially with eggs and an English Muffin.

Nice idea Jan - and it makes me want to eat.. again.
I like the English and American breakfasts: they give you a good start of the day.
My favorite is scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. And then a few sandwiches with bacon or a BLT.
MMMmmmmmm

I've just uploaded a couple of raw material shots myself, and I see we were on the same wavelength. Breakfast necessities! Luckily I've just eaten, or this might be causing me to reach for heartburn relief too!

Your photo allowed us to see what a hearty breakfast you were in for....and a very tasty one too! Love it!

Best wishes Jan....

Ned -- Thanks so much for the constructive comments. The stencil I left alone as I was so enamored with stenciled eggs; we have never had them around here before and I thought they were kind of cool. In hindsight they are a distraction.
The dust I missed; they are actually small particles of a paper towel that I used to wipe the pan with. Bummer that I missed that and could easily have taken them out in Photoshop.
The ham -- not so lethal in small quantities; smoked Virginia Baked Ham, thin sliced. It is pretty good but eat enough of them fried and lookout!!! :)
Thanks again for your good eye.

Hello Jan -- this is fun, and great composition (I like shooting eggs, too). A couple of distractions could go away -- the stencil or stamp on the left egg, and a couple of white specks in the pan. That ham looks lethal!! I enjoy this...

Patrick -- Thanks for the culinary (or should I say coronary) advice. This is one of my favorite breakfasts but usually about an hour after this, along with the coffee, the toast -- you get the picture.......
Thanks again for your comment!

The Rolaids might work as a bit of a side dish... crush them up, sprinkle them on the eggs as you please. I really like this... it's got a lovely feel to it.
