yoiks...!!! the thumbnail was bad enough wowsers what happened here.. in the pool too long.. yeah the DOF is shot to bits.. when u have this happen you could try some gaussian blur in PS and see how it goes..hmm No.. I just tried that no didnt work .. be a bit better prepared next time and get him to stick his arm arm out more so you can isolate the hand in the shot ..kekeke

Thank you for the comment Sophie. You know a lot about photography, and it great to recieve such encouraging comments from you. I wasn't quite sure what to do with this photogrpah, as it was a kind of spurr of the moment shot. Next time I will take your advice and put into practice.

This is a funny image of a shrivelled hand, making it look old. I agree that the background needs a bit of work. Try standing back further then zooming in. It allows the camera to focus on the hand alone and gives a smaller depth of focus, which would be great for this type of image. Very sharp details.
