Not being a portrait person, I think this is great. The lighting may be a tad harsh on the top of her forehead and her wrist, but those are teeny nits.

A very strong pose, and good composition. Her eyes perfect on the crossing of the 1-third rule. Therefor they look so strong. Very good.

It's those eyes that really pulled me into clicking the thumbnail. Great tones. By her one hand, there is a bit of open space (white), and by her other arm a bit of black fabric (pantleg?) that for me personally, are a little distracting.
