I like this composition Annemette. As you say, it is the kind of image that tells a story. The colours of the sky and landscape add to the tenderness of the image. The motion blur of some of the others in the image also add to the "passing of time" aspect. It is a very nice image.

I would guess the water in Puget Sound (oceanic) is about 50 degrees F. Rather forbidding at night.

Hm I actually donīt know, but these bright nights are wonderful. THat is also why it is such a treat bathing at night in the sea when it is warm, sunny and the sea is calm. Nothing like it.

Yes, the light and colours were amazing that night about 22:15 which made the grass look beautiful:-)
