About No PS work. No post-processing work. No digital manipulations of any kind.

Camera and lens motion only--pure luxagraphia.

This photograph (8281) was shot at some pub here in Ballard on 4 May 2007.

I am again interposing a shot glass between the lens and the subject lights, which is a candle.

Thanks for taking an interest in my work.

Andre - Thanks. This is probably my favorite from my series using the shotglass over my camera lens.

John - Thanks. Yeah, it has elements from both a splash photo and a smoke photo intergrated into it. Ephemeral.

Amazing...something between smoke and ...jellyfish! I could say a ghost like too! Fantastic and once again very original image James.
Best regards.

Maria - Yeah, or like a drop of water hitting a very hot surface, so that it's partially splashing and partially vaporizing. The prismatic effect really makes this one for me. Thanks.

MMm I love this one- mysterious and gothic. Right for my taste. The little rainbowsparkles and the smooth movement and dance of lines while something that look like musicnodes fly in the air. Good work, Luxpoet.

It looks almost like a splash of mercury (if the metal's surface tension was much less strong). It's interesting how it seems to be a black and white shot until you look more closely and see the little rainbow-like areas.
