About yyyyyaaaaaahhhhhh.....
I HATE THEM, I hate everything of them, they are ugly, and dangerus...and that one.....iiiihhhhh....BIG!!! Very big, that shot taken from a big distance about one meter (and after that cropped) that is the bottom of its belly, it size with the long legs must be more that 6cm, I bet it can bite us...
ok...I left my madness...after all these bad words now I'm calm, it's amazing, so detailed and big, I never have seen that thing in my life since now, that is perchaps my best macro shot (at least about my taste...) hope you can see my photo hahahahaha.....:-D
...lol... I put the ...pet category too :-D

About the equipment... Canon 20D, Sigma 150mm macro + 2X converter, manual focus and flash Speedlite EX580 II...

UGGHHHHH!!! Ugly yes, very true, its ugliness appals me :) but indeed a very good shot. And my advice is don't go too close [I wonder how do you gather the courage to go too close to these insects, I can never even dream of doing such a rash act :)].
Carry on my friend...
