A truly wonderful picture Gian Massimo, the scene looks so peaceful and remote I'm sure that if you were to sit there all day you wouldn't see another person.
The monochrome treatment of the picture is right in keeping with the subject and should it be shown in colour I don't think that it would have been as popular as it has been.

I think maybe Arthur means that the perspective might be better looking at the bridge more from the end, so that the tree that is behind the bridge now would be beside the bridge instead. He might be correct, but the tree where it is doesn't bother me. This is a wonderful picture. It is, indeed, a quiet place and a very peaceful and calming image - Bob T.

I didn't understand the matter about which Arthur Yeo is talking about. What does he mean when he says the tree is merged with the bridge? The bridge is old and a tree grew uo next to it, you can see many of these things here in Italy, Arthur! Molto bene Gian Massimo, bravo.

The tones are mild and the lighting is quite interesting. The textures of the bark is nicely captured.
The image is beautiful if not for the fact that I find the merging of the tree with the bridge somewhat problematic. I cannot find a reason to justify that merge.
