That's a very good freind, Reini, as we call him, showing us his drawings and paintings. He is one of those humans that does it not for money or acknowledgement, but simply because of being attached to it.
It has been on one of those nights that are more than having just supper and small talk, as we were thinking and talking about arts, the necessity of knowledge and technique, and the apparently opposing view about the indepence of creative work, as stated by Sartre. A night full of thoughts, the atmosphere of which I tried to get somehow using a fourfold exposure here.
Oh, that smiling woman.. Well, my one and only was smiling to me, so I hope it was a bit more than just friendship. ;-)
She doesn't like to be photographed most most most of the time because of her prior catwalk years, but I am (gracefully ;-)) allowed to do that, provided of course that the image is no real portrait but only some vague essence of her presence. That's also why I received the license to post this one. ;-)
As about friendship, yes, much of that to the depicted man there, and also his girlfriend. Both of them really nice guys - with all the difficult parts of their characters.
