It was certainly fortuitous that the little pink flowers known as thrift were present on the edge of the cliff (actually they're all around here), but their inclusion within the picture was most definitely a deliberate act.

So glad you were patient - do like the sharp contrast between the rocks and grass in the right foreground against the soft pinks and purples of the sunrise. Was it a happy accident that the right foreground also happended to include grass with pinkish lavender clover or tiny flowers that are not only a nice contrast to the green grass, but reflect the colors and tones in the sky so nicely?
