jumped out of the car and trying to stand

More used to make shots at Blouberg and
Muizenbergstrand, was there some months ago,
great country, will go back for CT in some weeks!

Wonderful perspective and lighting. I like the way the footprints in the sand and the curving water channel lead the eye to the person with the child on the rocks. Super clarity and composition!!

Oh this is truly lovely dear Jen. I just love the expanse of it, the sharp foreground disappearing into the beautiful blues of the sky and the shimmering light on the sea...the silhouettes are such a nice touch, anonymously representing our journey on this planet...so lovely dear...big hugs!!

Had'nt noticed the spot, your eyes are great, I need glasses these days...txs for telling! It was very windy and wet over there, must have been salt...

Now then, this has some serious photographic credibility! Why do I say that? Because of the stream that grabs our attention, and leads our eyes to the figures on the right.
If I were to be mean and picky, which I will be, I would suggest cutting a little of the sky - this would remove some of the bright white clouds that are a little blown out, and move the horizon to a position about two-thirds of the way up the image. Oh, and you may have a spot on your lens, just above the smaller of the two figures.
There now, are you sure you were missing my comments?! :-)

This is a well composed capture, daring with the placement of the subject but a very powerful result. The lines of the shore, the mountains and the footprints all leads to the subject, and most of all, it is on the brightest area in the composition.
wonderful feel looking at it, so much space and vastness..earth, water and sky..

Excellent shot, that 'river' is really importante here as it makes a big curve and goes straitly to the humen's silhouette, really that element is 'all the money' here Jen, a very nice shot also about the lighting, as the silhouettes looks even better against the overexposed reflected water, EXCELLENT!
