About A flower emerging - taken in a patch of wildflowers in a median strip. Cars were hurtling by at 60-65 miles per hour about 12 feet away, so I had a lot of wind to contend with, especially after trucks whizzed past.

A very very beautiful and perfect shot! I love the focus and the chosen DOF! Also composition, colours and of course the flower is so beautiful! My only problem would be that I would love to see it bigger! AND I would love to RATE... a 7/7! ;-)

Hi Bob, I know this beauty. It is a blue cornflowers isn't it? You have made a wonderful capture on this one. I just love the blue colors of the cornflowers. Today I saw some along the highway here in The Netherlands. Just couldn't get out of the car to make a picture (it is forbidden here in The Netherlands to go out of the car on the highway). Maybe you can make a picture of a fully flowering one?
greetings,
Diana.

Bob, I just found this and think it's really super! I admire your attempt to get the shot no matter what the conditions. So many times I see something that would make a wonderful photo and don't even have my camera with me. This past weekend I went to an art show where the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile was, and didn't have my camera, what a missed opportunity! There is an incredible amount of detail in this small bud and the background is perfect. Too bad you didn't go back when it bloomed to take another pic, but it would be hard to top this.

Hi, Bob!

Very good! Great sharpness and details, good colors, specially at so dificult conditions. Very good job!!

About ratings: It's very strange, but I can't see the complete box of ratings (only the cathegories are shown at my screen) and because of this it's impossible to rate this pic, but I consider it excelent!!
