What I start noticing on your images in general, Ben, is the always present extreme care with which you capture anything. There is always enough clarity but also the strength of some rather special moment caught on a good design/composition.
The hands and the water might also be a bit blurred from motion but still it looks so clear! Perhaps because of the water that breaks the light so nicely? One has still the impression of a very good separation of the main subject from the background through selective focus, despite the fact that the main subject is moving and thus blurry too.
Another good thing here is the lighting and exposure balance. It makes the hands and the hidden face look really refreshed under the sunlight, which gets further enhanced by the green background (suggestion for cool forest).
Again a very good one!
