Yes, I know where the synagoge is. The houses of pleasure are in the backstreets parallel to de zuiderdiep direction east.
AJ says so many things. NIts good you bought Canon !!
So at the end you know why you have to upgrade to Nikon ;-)

"Thanks for the huggies, might need those in some years."

Ow, I saw in your photo they have some rubber devices that will fit perfect and stop the leakage ....... ;-)

Dont be embarrassed sweetie. Millions walking past can see it. I see what you did here :)) Very clever. Looks better than what was suggested. Well seen and done. Be brave. That dosnt mean patting a lion or swinging off the top of a ladder lol. Hugs. Keithxx:)

Do agree with you my friend, but there are just more possibilities then these fixed lenses and seen it as well with this night photography, if you want more, you need more;)))
Nevertheless I will still carry my Oly around like a baby......:)) On trips its much easier, need my skirts more....lolll

Actually Jen, that was just a dig at those who claim that "this" is better than "that". 99% of the time, the person behind the camera is more important than the machine itself.

Its getting obvious I think I do have this nice
new tool to become better, although it doesnt always work like that, I will still make mistakes
and have to practise lots and also will miss my
Olympus for sure..:))
My addiction would be there, but I have no
possibilities so far to get all this equipment,
very happy with this for sure! Just a macro lens
would be great, but maybe I can get one 2nd hand!
Thank you for your great comment dear Gary and no
this is no theme, I didnt dare to take more of
these:))
Big hugs, Jen

I knew you could appreciate this kind of shooting
dear Aziz, or more I was hoping!
I know in many countries its not common to see
this just around the corner, but well with a
class it was more easy to try this:)
Thank you for liking it in its own way....
Hugs Jen

Good contrast between the cluttered right and the sexy left half of the frame. I see you got yourself a new camera, Jen. You won't look back now you have an SLR but you may well suffer the dreaded disease of LBA (lens buying addiction). A new style of photography too, is this the first of many on this theme, I wonder?
Regards, Gary

Hello my dear, its good to see you back from some
where out of space:))
I wont explain all the details of this shot, as I
THINK this you might know better then I do..lolll
So sorry for you, havent been inside...maybe one
day when I am over 70 I might dare:))
I still use my oldie as well, as long as I havent
got a macro lens, so now you tell me what is the
big difference between the Nikon and Canon, I was
supposed to get your brand, but somehow came out
with this one........hmzzzzz
Enjoy the night,
xxJen

You are very right Wofje, this is very close to the Zuiderdiep, at the corner even uposit of the Jewish senagoge?
No, I havent find all the knobs yet, that might take a while, I am not practising alllll the time:))
But its a nice camera, I think even easier then AJ says...the Nikon.....also the macro lens of this might be cheaper, which is my next step!
Thanks for the huggies, might need those in some years....lollll

Well my dear, you better ask Wolf under here, he
should know the answer to this, as you can see:))
Maybe not allowed from the inside, this was still
open at night and just by coinsedence I was lucky
(!) to take this shot...not really my style, but
well it was fun:))
Be well, Jenxx

AJ Miller AJ Miller   {K:49168} 10/28/2008
You see, Jen, the problem with a good camera is that you capture ALL the detail (eg. top right - is that a "remote release"? Or some sort of "darkroom" equipment?), yet there are times when you might want an old blurry pixelating point-and-shoot (camera, I mean)!

So, the only upgrade left to you now is a switch to Nikon ;)

Oh, this must be near the zuiderdiep, , kijk in t jat straat or so. Give them my regards Jen. They had similar things in the medievals to make sure the princess was well protected.
EOS450D I see, do you find all knobs now ?
Huggies, Harry

Thanks Dave, hope you can appreciate this:))
Its more like put a bit of humour here, but as we
walked around with our tripods with class last
Saturday night, I saw this and just after this
shot taken, they pulled down the screen...its embarrasing me also, but its for sure our street
life! Thanks specially for being this brave to comment:)) Warm hugs, Jenxx
