thanks Dan, a friend who started at 60 years old with the fiddle. He is 65 now. He also buys and repairs fiddles and bows for fun and profit. Used to make toys and is an accomplished machinist. Fun to watch his growth musically.

Thanks Steve, Dave is intense when playing and has a lot of focus. He practices every day and is really catching on well. Who said us old dogs are untrainable. I appreciate the comment.

Thanks for the great comment and glad you liked this one. The color version just did not have the contrast the B/W had. I really liked the details of the violin and Dave's concentration as he played. We sang and danced for Thanksgiving as he and his wife played for us. His wife Janet plays guitar and has a really nice voice. We sang old songs like "Working on the railroad", " Your are my sunshine" and some other fun old songs. Thanks for your interest and I wish the best to you as you journey through UF.

Thanks Saad, Dave is not only a player, he also buys and repairs violins. He is currently waiting for one that is a five string that is coming from Viet Nam. He is excited about trying it out. He has been playing for over four years and really enjoys it. He is an artist in many ways..
