About	I don't think this is a great photo, but the light reflecting the gold of the fall foliage in this pure mountain stream was quite beautiful to behold in person.

It has a sort of impressionist kind of look about it, in terms of how the light comes at the viewer. The light jumps at you.

I think your right here, film just dosn't capture the true image of this pond. There is a little too much contrast here which makes it hard to pick out details.
