Elangs, this is a wonderful image. And Bharati really was a magician - a magician with words - so this is a perfect treatment. Absolutely, the use of the black, negative space and the way his black clothes completely merge with it, is what makes this shot so effective. And I do disagree with Darrin here (even though he is one of the photographers that I most respect and admire at this site). That space on the left is just perfect and must be there to allow for the flow and room needed by the direction of his outstetched hand. A small, small crop maybe, but certainly not much, as there must be more on the left than on the right, in my opinion... Outstanding work.

A powerful shot with excellent choice of background. A tighter crop leaving out a lot of the space to the left would have been better though

He looks like a magician as well Elangs. I think you have captured him in a nice way, would just prefer a bit more detail in his costume....kind of real black here. Always nice to see your work!!
