DUZ Image had the pleasure to portrait italian Rugby legend Luca Tramontin and lovely journalist Daniela Scalia. Luca followed our activities on duzimage.com, falling in love with our “armchair project” and made himself available for a “theme” shooting with our team. Planning a full day shooting had never been so easy and Luca managed to involve the lovely and kind Daniela. Luca and Daniela used to run a Rugby TV show on the well known “S.I. SportItalia TV channel” but their projects and works keep evolving as we speak.

Strobist Info. Luca’s face had been lit by an SB900 inside a circular beauty dish, camera left in order to concentrate the light and avoid spill over the ground. Daniela and the armchair have been lit by another SB900, camera right, shoot through umbrella. Rim lights were provided by a third SB900 equipped with Honl grid, camera right, in order to better define Daniela’s hair, and a SB800 camera left zoomed 105mm to define Luca’s Body while he was slamming the oval.
