Thanks for the comments Becky... at last someone saw, looked and commented. I'd quite forgotten that I had it up. I might have this shot in color too and will think about posting it. The costume is really colorful and bright - worn by the women in the lowlands. (Although slowly disappearing due to modernization) - Thanks
I like this portrait, especially the unposed, casual feel of it. I like the woman's expression too: happy, and a bit shy, it seems.
Since the subject of this photo is the woman, I'd like to see more of her and less of the wall behind. Cropping this photo from the top and from the right might help. I'm fascinated by her elaborate clothes - I almost want to see them in colour!
