I have not an idea what I am looking at, but it look strangely organic and almost human, yet distorted and disturbing. Great texturing and color. Effective and visceral. Not a pretty picture, by far, but I know that's not what you are going for.

I agree that this is a beautiful abstract -- and that seems a lame comment. Something about the elongated form reminds me of the Sistine Chapel ceiling. From there I started thinking of all your self portraits displayed thusly, and from there I really had to stop thinking . . .
Into my favorites with this one.
