About Used a tripod, sheet of glass, turquiose pillow case under the glass and a desklamp and flashlight. Experimenting with refelctions in glass. Wouldn't use a pillowcase again, as the grain of the fabric was present in the prints.

Kim , I dont much care for flower pics as a rule. But I do like the way you did this one. I might even try this one my self.

Maybe its jpeg compression. You only used 45 of the 200k allowed. Then again, maybe it's me still getting used to new glasses I picked up yesterday, but I don't see any sharp edges to it.

The scan is a bit sharper, John, but everything else is as seen on the print. Just curious as to why you think something moved? What signs are you seeing?

Great idea Kim. Very creative. Looks liked something moved or is it just the scan?

Kim, I think you did a fantastic job. Way to let your artistic abilities show. You took an ordinary flower and make it very interesting. Good job!

I can see why Marty is not very interested in floral shots....he has his own, um...flowers so to speak!! Keep up the good work. This was creative.

Thanks for your comments... glad I caught your eye Marty!

Vince... the flower is real, its a gerbera (sp?) out of my garden, but I trimmed the stem so it wouldn't be seen.

Thanks again.

Hi Kim. I think you've done a fantastic job here. I love the colors and the reflection. Great job, and this is coming from someone who is usually not interested in the slightest with flower photos. :)

It works! I am just now taking a break from editing floral slides....eyes are tired. This idea is a good one. Is the actual flower artificial, or is it being supported behind the scene?? Good job.
