About I was in college studying late. It was September or October and we got and early snowstorm. I saw this bike parked under a street light and I ran back to the dorm as fast as I could and grabbed my camera. I had to dodge a snowball battle on the way back but, having the camera and tripod convinced them not to pummel me. hehe
Some retouching done in Photoshop but this matches the dodging and burning I did in the darkroom. Mostly dust and one light reflection removed from a window in the background.

I Like the realness in this pic the light and all! And there is like a goodness in the front and the evilness in the back *S*

I love this shot - just one nit to pick. I always like to see more space in front of a bike (car, boat, horse, whatever) than behind. Since you didn't shoot it that way, I'd crop some off the right side (and a bit from the bottom too). Like this:

Perfect antidote for a heatwave. Thanks, this one brings back some pretty cool memories.

Thank you all for your comments. Yes this is B&W film. That burn in the lower corner isn't on the print. hmmm, Just my weak scanning skills, I think. :)

Great shot!!!
The only thing that keeps drawing my eye away from the bike is the burned bottom right corner. Other than that I love this image. Im jealous :(

hey lovely pic,

I think i would have liked the light reflection - it looks so perfect here it could be a studio model - imperfections are cool!

The subject is wonderful, I love the image inits self, and I find you made a perfect work with the burning. ?
Just a 'naive' curiousity: it is a black and white film, isn't it?
