Secinaro, Abruzzo (Italy). A relaxing village where I spent a great week end with four very good friends of mine (only girls!). Just walking together, gossips, laughs and wonderful panorama around us.
a neuatral density grad filter is a filter that gradually gets darker on top. the darker part is a neautral gray, so it won't affect the color of the shot at all...it is mainly used to keep the sky and foreground of roughly equal brightness...so you won't get any "burned out" or "hot" skies.
Thanks Kenneth for your comment. I took the sunflowers without focus with intention, because I prefered the warm colours of the landscape in the background, and that influenced also the sky.
What do you mean with "ND grad", I didn't anderstand it.
Personally I find this image a bit "commercial", I mean like a panorama you can find in a postcard shop, but I was there and I have remembrances in this place, so I made an exeption and I like it tough.
Very good composition. Nice light and wonderful sense of depth. The sky seems a little hot though. Perhaps an ND grad might help. Also, I'd prefer not having the tip of the flower cut off and having them in better focus.
