About A few leaves on Regent\'s Canal trapped in undulating water tension. The light filtering through the tree canopy above made strange reflected patterns as the water moved. The only PS work is to darken the black-point.

Omyheadisaboutosplit. If ever a headache was captured in a photographic image, this is it. The one leaf (is it really a leaf?) that looks like a face caught in a malestrom of chaotic lightening is both captivating and ominous. Regards, Mister Ken

Well spotted and conceived. The longish exposure has captured something extrordinary in the everyday. Beautiful, contemplative picture.

As I don' have a lot of knowledge in photo technics, I can't give you the so called "constructive critic" about this photo and find the flaws in it. I can't figure out how you achieved this rendering. But the painter in me find this nice colored abstract photo really amazing. It pleases my eyes enormously and touches my heart in a wonderful way. I love it! It awakens the painter in me! And by so all I can say is this; Great job!

Wow . . . I encourage everyone to look at this thumbnail-doesn't-do-it-justice photo! This is like an amazing true story; a great image made even better by the fact it's "natural" and not a PS manipulation. Just out of curiosity, what time of day was this photo taken? I appreciate how the highlights aren't blown out - something I'm always struggling with once my shutter speed slows down. I also like the inclusion of the leaves on the surface. They sort of anchor the photo in reality - without them it would be impossible to discern the photo's setting (which, admittedly, isn't that important when it comes to abstracts, but I link having that link). Those leaves also provide some wonderful additional colour.

I wish I could be critical about this image -- I always try to find something to nit about -- but I really can't here. Just wanted to congratulate you on such a unique and well-spotted (and well-timed!) image. I could look at it for hours; I keep finding new faces in it. (Of course, this could be a sign that I need professional help.) :)
