About My daughter Jenny in Pembroke, near the castle. I used Program mode on my camera, but cropped the original print. Jenny moves with alarming speed, so getting this kind of shot is not that easy. Sometimes I have to snap away very quickly at the expense of good composition.

Thanks Arrey and Sue.

Both crop ideas are interesting.
The back of the pic looks quite dark because this area was in quite heavy shade. I metered off her face, and this area is exposed OK, the jacket, if anything, is a little light itself.

Glad you liked the picture.

Another picture of the cutie! I love the way she's staring so intently into the water.

I disagree with Arrey's version of the crop as it's too close to the foot, but maybe a little off the bottom would be good. Also, it looks like the auto exposure metered to her white jacket and left the rest of the scene darkened.

Also, cloning or airbrushing out the lamppost would be easy to do. I'm not against leaving things like power lines and utility poles in photographs, but in this case, I think this one looks like a scratch in the film at first look.

Over all, this is a nice capture. Although you say this little girl doesn't slow down much, I feel like you're telling me a lot about her when you present this image.

Playing with the crop, I think it works as an intimate crop, as well.

I am sure Jenny is going to be a very nice model someday.

I don?t understand how you did the crop. But i would suggest you crop it again. The front Part is blur, and the back is too dark.
