Thanks for your comment Jim - much appreciated. My 24-120 is not the VR. It is the f/3.5-f/5.6D. I wouldn't mind owning some faster Nikon Zooms but the lens I really want is the Nikon 14 f/2.8!! To me - the wider the better. I'm putting together a site for extreme sports photography. I would like to show your stuff. Email me if interested. Good stop action. Since you were using a 28-80 - the photo of the bike in the air would be much more dramatic if you could get as close as possible. Get close with the lens all the way wide and get low to the ground looking up. I like dirt bike photography and I use the F100. Keep at it. Good pic.
