Thanks Gary! The Holga is alot of fun. No fuss, and sometimes you get some really fun shots.

Mark, you may have something there! Of all of the photos I've taken of Hanna, I have very, very few of her smiling and those only happen because she doesn't see me pointing the camera at her, but in this one, she's grinning from ear to ear. Must be a camera from another dimension... ;-)

Spencer is right with the creepy designation. It's a fun type of creepy, though. I wonder if the Holga's existence is so far removed from other cameras that the slices of time that it takes is on the same level as decisive moments. I'm beginning to think that decisive moments live in between intended exposures.

I think the numbers and mysterious light is what is making this photo so creepy. : ) That, and the fact that you can't really see the whites of her eyes, or any teeth. :)
By the way, I live in SLC, so the drive the the lake wouldnt' be all that horrible! It would be fun to go out there and shoot with a fellow photographer..I'll email you my email address, and we'll have to plan it.

Hi Pat, thanks for your comment! I agree, it's a bit of a freaky photo. To me, it looks like she's behind a dirty window. It's the only photo I've taken with the Holga so far to come out with defects, and it was probably my fault and not the cameras!

Interesting photo...the numbers are neat. Something about it is sort of scary to me...I don't know why. It almost looks as tho she's underwater.
