About	Taken on a bright morning while on holiday down in Devon and Somerset. As I recall this was processed in ID11 1+1 and I rated the film at 400 a.s.a with a red filter on.

Thanks for your comment.
I only took one shot of this particular scene but I took a whole roll in this area. I wish now I had taken some more and varied the composition a bit but I was carried away with the photo opportunities in this area and the weather - unusually for me - was perfect for shooting infra-red.

I like this shot,especially the white wall of the house which dominates this shot and makes a fine contrast with the darkening sky above.I find the bright sky on the left somewhat of a distraction which leads the eye away from the main area of interest and out of the picture.I think I would have taken this shot slightly to the left of the upturned boat cutting out both the bright sky and the other sailing boat.I like the movement given to the image by the line of masts running off to the right.Did you take just the one shot of this scene?

very nicely thought out image Sylvia........well framed and executed....I tend to go along with David on the boat however....i think if you burned it in a bit so the white barn would be your hottest white.........well done in any case

Nice shot. I think I'd burn in the foreground a bit, maybe with multigrade paper and a higher contrast filter for the overturned boat.
