i think its an excelent shot & the composition is just perfect. the white bkgd gives the image some breathing space.the model & styling are lovely, too.

Hey, great portrait! I'm mesmurized by the eyes...

As for cropping, I think it would be better if you didn't have the shot as tight, contrary to what others are saying. I'd like to see her hair more and perhaps a little more contrast between her hair and her coat (eg. a slightly darker fur coat). The lighting is great, soft and pleasing to the eye.

BTW, nice model! ;)

Did I mention I really like the eyes?

Great shot, great lighting, great portrait... but I agree on the cropping... I tried to do it on PS7, and find it more attractive and focused on the model... Great work in all casses

i really think that the background should stay, i cropped it to see how it looked, just as lass said, and i really like the space that the background gives to the shot, but its just my opinion, i like it without the background too because its a really great shot, but i think the background should stay...
just a question, i noticed from the catchlights that you used only one front light for this shot... was it really only one light source? and i would be very pleased if you could tell something more about the kind of lights (or reflectors you used), how was the setting, etc... maybe im just too anoying asking for the explanation, lol, its just that i like portrait photography a lot and really like yours, so, i wanna learn form the pros.. =)
great great shot!!!

I am not a portrait photographer either, but I am a smart ass...so, i feel that you should crop the white background and make the stunning model fill the entire frame...really..*really* good one here...

Everything about this is stunning. Like Sue, I am not a portriat photograher, so I have no critiques, only praise.

Wow! I'm not an enthusiast of portraiture photography, but this is wonderful! Obviously, no suggestions for improvement! Thank you for posting this image.
