I'm so glad I noticed this one among "recent" photographs. It's a really good photograph. But I can't help wishing that we might have been given a clue what it is over there on the right that they are all looking at... Although the open space at the lower left is necessary to allow the whole line of policemen to be shown (which is good), it does leave a lot of "empy" space... with everyone's attention pointing away from it. I think this undermines the strength of the composition a little. But, you have to deal with the world as you find it, and this is an excellent documentary record. I love the way the body armou texture has been rendered, by the way!
