I often wish I could implant a digital recorder behind my eyes so that those split-second things I see that move me more deeply than the truly deep things do could be caught. Then I could sift through my memories every so often and pull them out and say - see this is how I see the world.

If you didn't mention it was a napkin holder.. I would have assumed you were looking into some indide of a tin can or something.. Crazy that it was a flat peice of metal.. so much shape too it!
